Ergonomics is the process of designing work areas to be user friendly, using tools and equipment to reduce strain and repetitive motions and teaching employees proper work methods, correct posture and safe lifting techniques.
Ergonomic risk factors are found in jobs requiring repetitive, forceful, or prolonged exertions of the hands; frequent or heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of heavy objects; and prolonged awkward posture.
Two versions are available: Office Ergonomics and Industrial Ergonomics. The information is similar in both courses and we suggest that you only purchase the version most appropriate for your business.
