Forklift Operator Safety Training

Updated 2011!

This forklift training program meets the requirements of OSHA's 1910.178(l)(2)(ii) requirement regarding formal instruction. The program covers the major areas needed to comply with the standard, such as:

Contents of the standard
Types and characteristics of forklifts
Pre-operational inspections
Basic driving, stability, and load handling
Fuels and batteries
Attachments

The training kit contains a Forklift Safety Training Video (DVD or VHS), Leader's Guide (CD), Forklift Safety Plan (CD), Power Point® Presentation (CD), and Additional Forklift Information on CD.

Use the Leader's Guide to print Quizzes (answer key included), Training Logs, Certificates, Wallet Cards, Copies of OSHA Standard 1910.178, and Listing of Site Specific Information.
